Full-day Aerial Camp (9:00am- 5:00pm, 8:30am dropoff available at no extra charge)
Challenge Aerial Summer Aerial Camps are for Rising 4th graders- Rising 9th graders who are ready to climb, spin and fly. Over five days, students will learn techniques and sequences on aerial silks, sling (hammock), trapeze, lyra, and rope. Campers will increase their flexibility, strength & balance and have enormous fun learning aerial arts in a safe environment that helps them-
- Build confidence to express themselves
- Gain a love of physical activity
- Learn principles of physics and math that are essential to aerial (yes, really!)
- Develop artistically and intellectually
Camps are designed for both experienced and new aerialists. Aerial lessons run from 9:00 AM -1:00 PM Monday through Friday (drop-offs can begin at 8:30am for no extra charge). Campers present their own student showcase each Friday at 12noon.
In the afternoons, campers are engaged in one of two week-long thematic activities:
- Upcycled Style- campers will spend their afternoons creating an array of crafts that include the use of recycled, found or thrifted/donated items. Jewelry, stuffed animals, hand-designed bags, and upcycled/repurposed clothing are all part of the curriculum in this exciting camp that let's children continue to explore their creative selves.

- Plants as Pets- campers will spend their afternoons creating a variety of plant holders and potting their plants to have their own interior garden space when they leave.
Spaces are limited to ensure that campers have a lot of air time on the apparatus so don't wait to sign up!
NOTE- Camps are not refundable. If you need to change the week that your child is coming to camp, email us and we will move the reservation if there is space available. We are happy to transfer the reservation to another child, or to donate the reservation to one of our neighbors-in-need.
