This four week youth lyra class will focus on techniques in and under the bar, including flares and other floor start mounts. Students should be prepared for lots of spinning and interested in exploring self expression and choreography.
Note about class levels: We know that y’all understand the importance of developing strength and proper technique. It is critical that children learn skills in a safe and structured class that meets their physical, social and emotional needs. We design our kid classes to create a positive learning environment where children feel they belong, are celebrated for their unique skills and abilities, and are encouraged to shelve self-doubt and recrimination and challenge themselves
Any skill we teach can be modified to a level appropriate to the individual child. Skills are broken down to the appropriate level to allow each child to learn the skill at their appropriate pace and in the safest order to progress. Safety is our primary consideration in every class we teach.
