Lyra/Aerial Hoop is a (generally spinning) steel circle that is suspended from a single point. In our introduction class, you will learn how to move from different positions on the lyra with grace and ease while gaining strength and control, and improving both strength and flexibility. Students will receive instruction on the fundamentals of spinning, the basic foundations that form beginner poses including inversions. Students will also be introduced to techniques and conditioning designed to build strength and body awareness to prepare your transition to a Lyra Level 1 class. No previous aerial experience is required!
