Adaptive circus is a modified version of traditional circus that's accessible to people with disabilities, neurodiversity, or unique access needs. It's designed to help people develop new skills, build confidence, and explore circus arts in a safe environment.
How does it work? Our trained adaptive circus instructor will modify equipment to ensure it meets the needs of the participants; provide individualized instruction, feedback and assessments to help students achieve their goals, and create flexible progressions that adapt to the abilities and needs of the students
Adaptive circus helps students develop social interaction skills, improve their self-esteems, explore their creatives selves, and improve their motor control and coordination. Our adaptive circus lessons are always taught in a private setting to help minimize the noise and distractions that students may find overwhelming.
