Translating Silks to Ropes- A 90-minute workshop

This workshop is designed to help aerial silks students translate their aerial skills to rope (corde lisse). Students will explore how the climbs, inversions, wraps and beats they use in aerial silks can be applied to ropes. Students will not only recognize the similarities but will also begin to understand how the two apparatus complement each other yet remain unique and different. Students will find the workshop more enjoyable if they can climb and invert comfortably on silks.
