Note about class levels: We know that y’all understand the importance of developing strength and proper technique. It is critical that children learn skills in a safe and structured class that meets their physical, social and emotional needs. We design our kid classes to create a positive learning environment where children feel they belong, are celebrated for their unique skills and abilities, and are encouraged shelve self-doubt and recrimination and challenge themselves.
Any skill we teach can be modified to a level appropriate to the individual child. Skills are broken down to the appropriate level to allow each child to learn the skill at their appropriate pace and in the safest order to progress. Safety is our primary consideration in every class we teach.
Young Aerialist is a class designed to build strength, poise, flexibility, stability, and creativity by teaching students aerial skills. All students learn vocabulary, improvisational techniques, and sequencing. Students build core and upper body strength, confidence, and grace as you learn to fly! Student showcases are generally held in May.
Young Aerialist Level 1
For 4th and 5th graders who are new to aerial, who have done some aerial in summer camp(s) or birthday parties, or for students who have done aerial in the past, who have been away from aerial for a while and need a refresher, or for students who want to continue to build their strength while ensuring that they have complete mastery of foundational moves before moving into a new class. This class helps students understand the importance of investing time and effort to develop correct form and techniques.
Young Aerialists Level 2
