Aerial Stretch- Students will learn safe, sustainable, and effective exercises to increase the body’s natural range of motion without compromising strength or function. Students will learn and participate in active, passive, assisted, and partner stretching and strengthening techniques that focus on the stregnth and flexibility needed to achieve or maintain/enhance backbends and splits. We will work on bringing balance to the body by freeing up fascial and neuromuscular barriers, and we will build muscle strength for flexibility that can be used. This class is accessible to all desiring to increase safe ranges of motion in their body. We recommend this class if you’re just beginning to explore aerial and/or you are looking to further your aerial practice.
